I received the following notice and I would like to share it with our inventors...

Creativity, ingenuity and originality are key in creating the winning entries for the 2005 Building and Landscape Product Design Competition, presented by the California Exposition and State Fair and sponsored by The California Integrated Waste Management Board.

This competition is to help develop products that use waste tires and to develop markets for the innovative building or landscape products use tires, crumb rubber, and/or other tire-derived materials that would otherwise end up in California landfills.

Entry into the competition is free and open to individuals, groups, students, inventors, or companies who reside in California. All entries must be postmarked by June 24, 2005. To download an entry form and detailed submission requirements visit www.itsgoodforcalifornia.com.

Submit an original design and your entry could help solve one of California’s most critical environmental issues.

Thank you-

Kristen
