Hello,

Okay, My invention requires a Rotational locking mechanism. I prefer a specfic type, however there are many locking mechanims out there. Each locking mechanism have its own Pros and Cons.

Most of the locking mechansim I know can be planted on my invention's "platform", just as easy as any other mechansims I know and dont like.

It would suck if somone goes around my patent with by using a diffrent mechanism.

The question is do i have to be specfic about the locking mechansim?

If your invention is not about the locking mechanism you don't need to be specific about it.
Just say it needs a locking mechanism and show where is positioned.
