I just about fell for the Davison scam until I did a little research on the net and found out the company's a scam. I've done a search on Harvey Reese Associates and haven't seen anything bad. Has anyone dealt with them and what were the results?

I used them for a preliminary study. They sent feedback with 3 strong points against marketing my product; however, none of them were true. They may have misunderstood the intent of my product, as it is completely original and not easily copied - both were points against it. Fortunately, it wasn't too expensive, but I wouldn't trust them. Personally, I feel I wasted the money.

I see this was a pretty old topic but it doesn't hurt to put in my 2 cents...

Harvey Reese has been described as a "used car salesman" in another post. This would be a pretty good assessment of him. If you listen to the CD he sends with the evaluation, you would know what I mean.

The evaluation he provides looks like he just randomly went through and checked stuff off. As connollydl noted, they seem either not understand the products they are being sent or they don't actually read your submission.

To boot, when he sent me receipt of my submission, he used an envelope from one of his other "legitimate" businesses (MARS LAND RUSH) and simply put a mailing label over top of it. That company is some hokey real estate agency selling plots of land on Mars...

Needless to say, I was not impressed with either the presentation or the value of the assessment from Harvey Reese Associates.
