What is a lie? or a bluff some will say.

Can we get in trouble if we lie to a manufacture that their major or one of their rivals are intrested in our invention?

This can give you a controlling position, think about it.

It's not a lie. It's marketing strategy.
The manufacture will do the same to you... (even if you got a billion dollar worth of invention)
For example:
Mr.XXXX this is the best offer we have, 1% of after sales royalties max...
we have ton of inventors line up in our office everyday...
we received tons of emails from inventors around the world...takes it or leave it...
