I live in United Kingdom. I applied a patent in UK this year. I like to apply in USA for the same patent.

Could someone tell me: Can I hire a petent agent in US without first hire a UK patent agent?

In this way, may I save some money on UK patent agent fee?

You can hire a patent attorney in any country to patent your invention.
If you have an application prepared by a US patent agent you can take the application to the UK Patent Office too - is in English.
