hello everbody,

i'd like to obtain a provisional patent application because it will cost less and will consume less time, too. but i'm a little confused regarding to how?where?and what to do?

is there anybody up there? please share your thought and experience.
(specially, plz compare 2 different method of filing: electronic and ordinary mailing)

thanks smile.gif

You may learn more about PPA at: http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/pac/provapp.htm
A PPA is like a regular patent application that has no claims and will not be reviewed until you file the regular application within one year.
You can use sofware programs like Patent Wizard or PatentEase PROVISIONALto help you do the provisional patent application, for more information go to: http://www.inventnet.com/software.html

Filing online is for experts or lawyers.
