I have a patent and manufacturing for a product that we're calling the Sojourner Walking Stick (anyone who's interested can see it by just doing a search for the name). I'm wondering if any one knows how to sell durable medical equipment: sales reps, contacts, etc.

You should look for medical sales reps associations and medical distributors associations, they have all the contacts you need.

I think the Medtrade shows are good (www.medtrade.com). It seems to me your product is over priced. Canes, walking sticks, etc. are considered commodity items in the category. But your concept is good. Have you considered a license to a larger manufacturer that can hit more suitable price points?
