For the length of time it takes to get a patent they should be paying you. The company I was working for filed a patent on my idea. It took 4 years 2 months before the patent was issued. patent number 6,052,972.
During that same time I was able to license two items to companies and get paid royalties from those licenses. I have found that patenst are not enforceable unless you are Coca Cola or Disney. They have a legion of lawyers that can bury any company that trys to rip them off. The everyday individual can not compete at that level. Http://www.rogerbrown.net |
