The New X-ray Apparatus realizes an X-ray beam that can be convergent, parallel or divergent. This feature helps reducing the size of the film used, economizing the silver used and reducing cost.

The New X-ray Apparatus has a simple construction and can be manufactured for less than the present ones. It is also more viable.

When used with a TV loop system it eliminates the need of an image amplifier.
