AUTOMATED PRECISION MOTORSHAFT ALIGNMENT SYSTEM
For use in the installation of industrial direct drive electric motors.
Industrial motors require alignment within precision tolerance to ensure not only motor and power efficiency but the longevity of motor bearings, component seals, couplings, resulting in
machine vibration which ultimately causes machine failure damaging internal components, such as gears, crankshafts, bearings, impellers, etc.
Today's methods are not only complicated but resulting in a loss of resources such as time, labor, money.
There comes the need for this AUTOMATED precision MOTORSHAFT ALIGNMENT SYSTEM consisting of precision measuring
devices, control and computing module, vertical and horizontal actuators. Has specific features
to physically adjust the position of a motor in direct response to compensate for angular and parallel misalignment measurements.
Automated bolt tightening torque sensing system.
Conventional shimming or will accommodate pressure injected shimming material.
Has low clearance vertical actuators for
existing motors, can be easily constructed with motor bases to accommodate vertical actuators
for larger motors or package units that include motor, component and base. Will save tremendous amount of time, labor, money.
